Flamed ceramic ashtray in the style of Vallauris or West Germany

This charming ashtray is original both in its free-flowing, organic shape, perhaps reminiscent of a seashell, and in its flamed enamel, a frothy sky blue and turquoise on a chocolate background. This shape is very practical, as the upper rim has three clearly defined slots for cigarettes and is also curved inwards, preventing ash from scattering in wind or drafts. The ashtray is marked on the bottom only with the number 113, making its origin difficult to determine, but it is in the style of creations found in Vallauris in the 1960s or in West Germany in the 1970s and 80s. It is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips, just a tiny chip on the inner rim. It measures 13 cm by 11.5 cm and is approximately 6 cm high.
