This beautiful vintage cabinet by De Coene Frères is a wonderful example of Belgian design from the mid-20th century featuring the characteristic Brutalist influences. Founded in Kortrijk, De Coene Frères was one of Belgium’s most prestigious furniture manufacturers, renowned for producing high-quality pieces for prestigious homes and public buildings. This cabinet, produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s, reflects that period’s fascination with bold geometric shapes, such as these striking diamond-shaped fronts, which create an artistic and sculptural appearance. It has been beautifully preserved and is ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
