1950s Coat Rack by Coen de Vries for Devo, Netherlands

A rare “tone ladder” coat rack designed by coen de vries, manufactured by devo in the netherlands around 1950. This nice, minimalist piece has a black lacquered, thin metal frame with a metal hat shelf and bent metal hangers in yellow and red. This gives the piece a colourful touch with a nice sense of elegance. It has a it can seamlessly fit in many different room and decors and is definitely an iconic piece of mid-century dutch design! It remains in good original condition, with some wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina.
