Flower Lamp RS 37 from the Mid-Century Space Age by Poul Cadovius for Cado, 1960s

Very rare flower lamp from the Danish manufacturer Cado, designed by Poul Cadovius in the 1960s. A simple and elegant design. The lamp consists of two half-shells connected by four distance wires. The lower shell is used to hold plants. In the upper shell, there is a small E14 socket to highlight the plants from above. The power line in white textile cable is covered with a metal cable sheath to support the higher weight of the plants. The lamp is still new and comes with the original packaging, including a rare Cado brochure. The lamp has a scratch on the underside of the lower dome.
