Mahogany writing cabinet

Dating from the end of the 19th century, made of mahogany and mahogany veneer. Original model featuring a lectern and a writing desk. It has two large upper drawers as well as ten drop-down compartments for storing files, papers, etc. A small side drawer with compartments is also present. Its exact function is uncertain, but it could accommodate an inkwell or various writing accessories. The piece of furniture is sound and stable. The compartments are complete and functional. It shows some signs of use related to its age, notably marks on the leather and a few small missing veneer pieces in places, which remain discreet. Key present but locks non-functional.
