Flamed Mahogany Commode with Veined Black Marble Top

Louis Philippe style commode in solid mahogany and flamed mahogany veneer, featuring 4 drawers. The lock entries are adorned with a brass crest and open with 2 round handles in gilded bronze. The top is covered with a black veined marble with a corbin beak edge. Hoofed feet. Very nice wood grain with warm tones. Good condition. Late 19th century.
