gueridon with a pietra dura top featuring a game board - 18th century

Superb side table featuring a pietra dura marble top from the late 18th century. Superb top with a checkerboard of hard stone in its centre. Excellent marquetry work in marble. It rests on a tripod base in brushed iron in the Louis XVI style, ending in small wheels (later leg). A very decorative original piece. In superb condition.
