Small decorative Italian ceramic from the 1960s with a modernist design. Sculptural shape with a pierced handle and circular opening, typical of the Italian design of the time, in the spirit of the productions of the Bertoncello factory. Beautiful deep cobalt blue glazing tinged with reddish-brown, achieved by layering glazes during firing, giving a slightly speckled appearance characteristic of Mid-Century Modern Italian decorative ceramics. Can be used as a small vase, catch-all, sauce boat, or simply as a decorative object. Very good condition. Height: 8 cm Length: 9 cm Width: 4 cm.
