Brutalist seating set, Sigma Furniture, Belgium, 1970s

Impressive Belgian brutalist seating set consisting of a three-seater sofa, two individual armchairs, and a coffee table. Designed and produced by Sigma Furniture, Deinze, Belgium in the 1970s. Sigma Furniture was founded in 1963 by Rufin Dedoncker. They worked with an in-house design team and designers such as Frank De Clercq and Fons Siaens. The set is made of solid oak stained black. The cushions and backs are reupholstered in a high-quality Belgian fabric (linen blend) in a beautiful soft terracotta shade. Dimensions: 3-seater: L 232 cm X D 86 cm X H 70 cm (seat height: 39 cm). 1-seater (2x): L 90 cm X D 86 cm X H 70 cm (seat height: 39 cm). Coffee table: L 86 cm X D 86 cm X H 39 cm.
