Vintage Italian-made dressing table from the mid-1970s, complete with its original cylindrical pouf. A piece of modern furniture from the space-age period, characterised by the curved band that wraps around the work surface and continues into the backrest framing the mirror: a typical formal solution from the early 1970s, when the dressing table surface ceased to be linear and the mirror was integrated into the structure. The composition consists of a central body with a curved top and double side niches, two columns with three drawers each featuring smooth fronts and contrasting decorative panels, and an oval tilting mirror with a matching frame. The central space accommodates the cylindrical pouf upholstered in red velvet, which serves as seating and visually completes the module: a solution designed for small spaces, very common in Italian furniture of the decade. The pouf measures: diameter 53 cm and height 40 cm. The piece is made of white lacquered wood, and its surfaces show signs of use consistent with the era, which do not compromise the structure. The mirror is intact, with signs of age on the frame; the mirror hinges are functional and the glass remains aligned. The pouf upholstery is solid in colour, with a small tear present. It is advisable to redo the padding as well as the upholstery. It is an ideal piece of furniture for vintage-style bedrooms, second homes, B&Bs, and holiday homes with period furnishings.
