Rosewood chairs, Kai Kristiansen, Denmark 1960s, mid-c modern

A set of 4 danish chairs produced in the 1960s and designed by kai kristiansen for the korup stolefabrik manufactory. Made of solid rosewood, with a great profile, with beautiful, varied grain. The chairs are visually light, have a beautiful shape and perfectly represent scandinavian mid-century modern design, thanks to the incredible attention to detail and quality of workmanship. The joinery has undergone a full renovation process, was cleaned of old coatings and finally secured again with a hard oil-wax resistant to water and dirt. Seats upholstered in dark brown natural leather. They are waiting ready to be arranged for a new interior of an apartment, studio or workshop.
