Pair of earthenware vases HBCM Montereau

Pair of earthenware vases with floral decoration. Produced in the 1930s-40s by the HBCM (Hippolyte Boulenger Creil Montereau) factory in Montereau. The factory operated under this name from 1920 to 1955 when it permanently closed its doors. Very pretty decoration of black, yellow, and green flowers giving a Japonese style to this duo of vases. Height: 31cm. Maximum diameter: 17cm. The neck of one of the vases has been broken and glued back together. There are restorations on this neck in places. This does not affect the solidity of the object or the decorative uniformity of the two vases. The other vase is in perfect condition. Signed under the base: HBCM Montereau France.
