Aluminium chair, "Tulip" model, by Pierre Guariche, Steiner edition, 1960

Pierre Guariche's "Tulip" chair features a perforated cast aluminum seat shell on a black lacquered tubular metal base. Manufactured by Steiner around 1960, it became a 20th-century design icon thanks to its clean, light lines. The chair is stable and sturdy. It is in good original condition (see photos).
