Made, decorated and used by the amazonian indians in their canoe on the oyapock river, the border river between brazil and guyana. This adult wooden model paddle was brought back from guyana about forty years ago. A small lack of wood at the top level of the paddle, otherwise good condition. Length 117 cm, thickness about 3 cm, maximum width 24 cm.
