Superb set of 10 limoges porcelain dessert plates, art deco

Set of 10 Limoges porcelain dessert plates, bearing the BF mark (from the Balleroy Fauré factory). Authentic Art Deco Style: The design is particularly sought-after and emblematic of the interwar period. The wide, bright yellow rim is decorated with an elegant wading bird in flight (heron/crane) and stylized water lilies in pink, red, and black. The edges are enhanced with a fine gold rim, present but patinated by time. Excellent overall condition considering their age. Slight wear to the gilding in places; no cracks or chips on any of the 10 plates. Diameter: 19 cm. Total weight of the set: 2445 grams.
