Dessert plate Sarreguemines, "thorn" pattern in blue on a soft grey-white background. In perfect condition, it would complete a set... In fact, the "thorn" refers to a hawthorn design! A short ribbon around flowers and berries, in a lovely blue, slightly mauve. On the back of the plate, in addition to Sarreguemines, it is written U & C, named after the founder of the pottery at the very beginning of the 19th century: Utzschneider.
