Pair of Empire period armchairs in mahogany. Slightly reclined backrest, console armrests resting on turned supports with finials. Front legs in a sheath, back legs sabre. Gilded bronze ornamentation including rosettes and a frieze on the front. Upholstery with studs. They have been recently reupholstered by a professional upholsterer in a red fabric with a crown and "N" motif. Period: 19th century. Style: Empire - Consulate. Condition: Very good condition.
