Round ceramic planter Rimini Bright Green Aldo Londi Bitossi 1970

Round ceramic jardinière from the Rimini series in Bright Green, made in the 1970s by the Bitossi factory based on an idea by the decorator Aldo Londi (1911-2003). The decorative texture is added using tools that create relief on the piece by forming layers of geometric friezes. The green colour of the pot is a reminder of the shades associated with the Mediterranean. In very good condition, with no cracks or chips, some crazing at the bottom due to overfiring. Dimensions: height 18 cm, diameter 15 cm. Weight without packaging: 2.1 kg.
