Small vintage ceramic vase made by KIL, a Yugoslav pottery manufacturer known for bold glazes and modernist forms. This rounded vase with a narrow mouth and thick rim features a striking lava-style glaze: deep glossy black on the body, a vivid red band around the shoulder, and a warm brown-toned rim.The underside is stamped "23720 KIL", identifying the shape and maker. KIL operated during the Yugoslav era and produced decorative ceramics with stylistic influences from the West German Fat Lava movement.
