Sublime plate porcelain from Nevers/Georges pottery

Magnificent large circular dish made of authentic Nevers earthenware, created by the famous Faïencerie Georges. • Signed on the back with the traditional green bow of Nevers, accompanied by the initials "GAE" corresponding to the period of André Georges. • Decoration: Entirely hand-painted ("grand feu decoration"). It features a stylized polychrome bird in the center, surrounded by a rich spring floral garland. The edge is highlighted with a characteristic blue line. • Dimensions: Generous diameter of 30 cm (ideal as a serving dish or decorative plate for wall/display on furniture). • Condition: Very good overall condition.
