Pair of Empire style swan sconces - Lucien GAU, Paris

Superb pair of empire style wall lamps, from the famous french bronzier: lucien gau. Manufacturer of the faubourg saint antoine, in paris. Manufacture of the second half of the twentieth century. Bronze fabrication. Original green patina, perfect condition. Original gilding, superb condition; note, small scratches on a wall lamp (see last photo). The sconces are decorated with palmettes and water leaves. The arms of light are swans. They are electrified and tested. Cardboard candles, perfect condition.
