For sale: a large and beautiful tapestry made in France in the mid-20th century, based on an original historical tapestry dating from the 16th century and held at the Gobelins Museum in Paris. Large dimensions: 2.40m wide / 2m high. André Demay - Master craftsman. Georges Boitard - Master engraver. It was created using a hand-screen printing process with a silk screen, on a tapestry of wool, linen, cotton, and rayon, by the Rambouillet art workshops, under the direction of Georges Boitard. The backing is made of burlap.
