Large Amazonia vase - unique piece by Gaetano Pesce

A unique piece by Italian artist/designer Gaetano Pesce, hand-cast in soft polychrome resin, in shades of green, red and amber. A rare example due to its large size, its unique shape, its transparency effects and its vibrant colors. This is a unique piece handcrafted by the artist during his experiments in the early 90s unlike current mass-produced reissues (current FISH reissues). This Amazonia vase in soft resin is an iconic piece of the 20th century, a must have for an art and design collector. A perfect example of the work of Gaetano Pesce who opposes any form of standardization and questions manufacturing processes through the production of this vase, advocating randomness. Experiments that create poetic surprises, the colors flow and the resin, in its race to expand, spreads and mixes differently each time.
