Pair of lamps in Roitn style Louis Sognot 60s

Magnificent pair of mid-century French Riviera style table lamps, made from curved rattan and hand-woven wicker. These fantastic lamps were made in France in the 1960s and are attributed to the mastery of Louis Sognot. The lamps are a clear example of organic craftsmanship and 1960s design, created in a spectacular mix of rattan and wicker with perfect proportions. The round lampshade is decorated with curved rattan and enhanced with fantastic hand-woven wicker work. It is complemented inside by a parchment-like material that makes the lamps spectacular when lit. The lamp base consists of three curved rattan legs enriched with wicker. Fully original and in spectacular condition, this stunning lamp is a must for all lovers of Côte d'Azur style.
