Mid-Century Globe Pendant Lamps, Bamboo & Rattan, c. 1960s

A stunning pair of mid-century pendant lamps attributed to Louis Sognot, crafted in bamboo and rattan in the French Riviera style. These sculptural globe pendants embody coastal Mediterranean elegance, combining natural materials with refined mid-century design. The pair is intentionally mismatched in scale, creating a decorative composition when hung together. One pendant features a larger balloon-shaped globe with a shorter chain, while the second presents a smaller globe with a longer chain, allowing for layered installation. Each lamp retains its original cylindrical parchment diffuser inside the globe. The lamps have been newly rewired with vintage-style copper twisted cord and are fully functional, ready for installation. Both are in great vintage condition, with minor age-appropriate wear consistent with their period. Dimensions (including chain): Larger pendant: 60 cm H X 33 cm D (23.6 in H X 13 in D).
