Old school card cabinet by Delagrave

Map cabinet (or school cartography cabinet) dating from the mid-20th century (around the 1930s to 1960). It was manufactured by the famous publishing and furniture house Delagrave, which has specialized since the 19th century in educational materials for French schools (as evidenced by the round metal plaque riveted to the front: "School Furniture - Registered Models - Delagrave"). There are some warping of the veneer due to humidity (it had been stored against a wall in a classroom). The cabinet is dry and treated (wood damaged at the bottom).
