Louis XVI style bench in white and gold lacquered wood, upholstered with tapestry

Louis XVI style bench, white and gilded lacquered wood, upholstered in tapestry. Late 19th or early 20th century. Cabriolet backrest in the shape of a gendarme's hat, fluted uprights, recessed armrests. Rests on seven tapered and fluted legs. Missing a plume at the top. Gilding in good condition. Restorations to two legs (including an old restoration to a posterior leg with imperfections). Smooth tapestry in the aubusson style (several small snags and stains) decorated with roses and musical attributes. Seat to be reviewed (webbing and/or upholstery). Seat dimensions: h 44 X 182 X 72 cm total height: 98 cm.
