Brass side table with double glass top Maison Jansen Style - Circa 1940

Vintage side table with two levels, typical of the Mid-Century Modern or Hollywood Regency style from the 1940s to 1960s. It features a brass structure and two thick glass shelves. Design: French work, often attributed to the style of Maison Jansen or Maison Baguès. Materials: fluted tubular base in solid brass with clear "cloudy" glass tops. A 6 cm edge of the top shelf has been sanded - see photos. Wear consistent with age and use: some scratches on the tops and patina on the tubular legs.
