The frame is architecturally designed with fluted pilasters topped with capitals adorned with acanthus leaves, typical of the Empire/Restauration style. The pediment is enhanced with a terracotta relief panel, darkened, depicting a mythological or pastoral scene (putto and animals), adding a strong decorative character. The mirror's backing is old, with a patina and some natural alterations due to age, contributing to its authenticity and charm. Original gilding shows regular wear, consistent with its age.
