Patinated workshop stool old early twentieth century

The stool is in very good condition, no accidents or misses. All assemblies are in place, the stool is stable, and solid. It is old, and its light construction gives it a beautiful simple and authentic appearance. The four legs are made of solid wood of square section, 3 cm side, chamfered. They are reinforced and connected to each other by solid turned wooden reinforcement bars. The top, at the level of the seat, consists of slats with rounded edges of 3 cm wide each, spaced. They are not all exactly the same length, so the edges of the seat are irregular. The seat therefore measures approximately 28 cm X 28 cm. The height of the seat is 48 cm, which is very slightly higher than the standard seat height of a chair. The patina is original, an eggshell color paint worn in places, polished by use and years. The stool has been completely cleaned, and waxed with natural beeswax, in order to fix the patina, and to protect it. For maintenance, it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a soft cloth. Like many craft furniture, it is unique, authentic, and all its marks of use give it a crazy charm. Nomadic and lightweight, it can be used both as a seat, but also as a harness, end of sofa, bedside, plant holder ... According to needs and desires. It dates from the beginning of the twentieth century.
