Rustic brutalist table Mobichalet in solid oak, Belgium 1960s

Handmade brutalist table in very good original condition. Manufactured by Mobichalet, Belgium in the 1960s. The top is made from very heavy solid oak which was not heavily processed, resulting in organic and free-flowing edges. The solid oak base is attached to the top by heavy metal pieces. The brutalist appearance is expressed through robust forms and strong lines. Several of these tables are available, each with its own unique form and size. The table can also be used as a desk or console.
