XXL Space Age floor lamp from the 70s – Giant orange lampshade 110 cm

An iconic and spectacular piece from the 1970s, this XXL floor lamp perfectly embodies the Space Age and Pop Art aesthetics that revolutionised interior design in the seventies. Its imposing cylindrical lampshade made of fabric and cardboard, in a bright and vibrant orange approximately 90 cm high, immediately captures the eye and floods the space with warm, enveloping light. Mounted on an elegant white moulded plastic tulip-shaped base, with a flared base of about 40 cm in diameter, the whole piece displays a sculptural and graphic silhouette that is entirely characteristic of furniture from this creative decade. The total height of 110 cm gives it a strong visual presence and imposes a true decorative signature in any interior. The generously curved white plastic base reflects the craftsmanship in synthetic materials that was so cherished by designers of the time. The overall condition is consistent with its age and authenticity: slight signs of wear on the lampshade, original electrical cable still present and functioning. A sincere vintage patina that only adds to the character of this piece. A true collector's and decorative object, ideal for adding a chic retro and colourful touch to a living room, office, or boutique. A must-have for enthusiasts of 70s design and authentic vintage decor. Dimensions: Total height 110 cm – Lampshade height 90 cm – Base diameter 40 cm – Weight 2 kg.
