Vintage table lamp with brushed aluminium base - cylinder shade

Magnificent 1980s table lamp with a flattened aluminium base and a very elongated cylindrical shade. It is the dialogue between the base and the shade that gives this piece its charm: the base is flattened while the shade is tall, the base is silver in contrast to the golden shade. It conveys both warmth and coolness, blending all impressions. It fits well in both vintage and contemporary settings, and leaves no one indifferent! It is in good condition except for the shade, which needs restoration, see photos. It works perfectly with a bayonet bulb. Height 50cm X diameter 18cm.
