Overview. A small, elegant Biedermeier chest of drawers veneered in figured cherry with subtle ebonized accents. Four drawers arranged as a shallow top drawer over three deeper storage drawers. Design. Rectilinear, restrained Biedermeier proportions emphasising the cherry veneer’s horizontal grain. Narrow ebonized stringing along the top edge and around the drawer fronts provides a striking dark contrast. Materials. Cherry wood veneer over softwood and solid wood carcass. Fitted with ebonized key escutcheons and original box locks; one key included. Iron elements present in lock fittings. Dimensions. Height: 85 cm. Width: 80 cm. Depth: 48 cm. Origin.
