This 1970s Mid-Century sideboard by Mojmir Pozar was produced by UP Závody in Czechoslovakia and displays the characteristic birch wood veneer in a warm golden tone. The veneer panels are arranged in a chessboard pattern, giving the surface a calm structure. A black glass top on the deck surface and rear panel creates a clear contrast to the light wood. The 1970s sideboard is divided into two sections: on the left an open shelf with two drawers below, on the right a compartment behind a glass sliding door with an adjustable shelf. Round knobs in dark wood and tapered legs are characteristic details of Czechoslovak furniture design of those years. At 120 cm wide, this Mid-Century vintage sideboard offers sufficient storage for a living room or study without dominating through volume.
