Exceptional plate, a masterpiece by the famous French artist Jean Lurçat (1892-1966). This is a glazed terracotta plate depicting a rooster, made in the prestigious Sant Vicens workshops (Perpignan) in the 1950s and 60s. The item is signed "J.Lurçat Sant Vicens" on the back: see photo. The plate is in excellent condition, with no chips.
