Vintage pendant lamp attributable to Sven Middelboe for Nordisk Solar, Scandinavian production from the 1970s. The glossy orange domed shade recalls the Space Age design language developed in Europe during the space race era, when plastic materials and saturated colors became central elements in domestic lighting. The structure is completed by a white opaline plastic cylindrical diffuser designed to soften the light and spread illumination upward as well. The combination of essential geometry and strong chromatic contrast reflects the experimental character of Nordic lighting from the period. Good conditions. It may show signs of age.
