Here are 2 curiosity items from my personal collection: a pair of purely decorative ceramics from the 60s-70s made in the shape of pipes. They are a tribute to the Belgian artist René Magritte, who lived in his youth in Châtelet (Belgium), where the pottery is located. Their official name in the catalogue at the time was "this is not a stoneware pipe." The Biron pottery still exists (one of the last two in the city) and still produces these "pipes, " but they have a completely different design today; only the name remains... Dating is quite easy, as the creator Willy Biron passed away in 1980 (he took over the family pottery in 1947). Items in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; beige and blue shades.
