Maison Jansen style pair of bronze mahogany palm tree lamps 1960s

Very beautiful and rare pair of palm tree lamps dating from the 1960s. The base and trunk are in varnished mahogany, with gold leaf details, with gold leaf accents. The cutting, welding and finishing work with a blowtorch giving the bronze color nuances on the sheets is superb. The patina of the leaves is revealed once the lamps are lit, and gives yet another dimension to this pair of lamps. They have been completely restored, re-electrified, and are in superb condition.
