Textile painting mola from Panama

Mola de panama from the 80s representing two American football players enhanced with embroidery. The mola adorns the front and back of the traditional kuna women's costume, it is handmade in a technique applied to lapels by superimposing and cutting several layers of colorful fabrics, sometimes embroidered. This mola is fixed on a black fabric support, a strip at the back allows you to slide a rod to hang it. Image dimension 40 X 33 cm, 55 X 48 cm with black frame. Another mola is available in my shop.
