Vintage lunar globe made in u.s.a., 30 cm on base

This vintage lunar globe accurately displays the craters, seas and mountains of our natural satellite. Certified by nasa, it mentions the landing location of the first russian mission "lunik 2" in 1959 and the apollo 11 mission in 1969, the first man on the moon. This globe was probably edited shortly after the first apollo missions. A small step for man... Offered on its original base, this globe is in an excellent vintage state of conservation with some small traces of minimal wear attesting to its authenticity. It measures 30 cm in diameter.
