This is a Tunisian Berber kilim rug, woven flat, entirely handmade, in a rectangular shape, featuring a composition of regular horizontal bands. The decoration consists of repetitive geometric patterns such as diamonds, chevrons, and small stylised motifs, organised symmetrically. The colour palette is rich and harmonious, dominated by red, ochre yellow, blue, green, cream, and black, the latter forming a framing border that structures the entire rug. The ends are finished with fringes, characteristic of traditional kilims. The weaving is flat, without pile, giving the rug a smooth and lightweight surface. The overall design evokes a traditional tribal style, both decorative and functional, suitable for wall or floor use.
