Modernist coffee table, circa 1970

Maison Lecan presents this modernist coffee table from the 1970s, made of metal and glass. The rectangular brown smoked glass top rests on a brushed brass structure (champagne tint), whose inverted U-shaped base connected to the ground emphasizes a graphic and architectural line. This refined design, playing on geometry and transparency, is in line with the taste of Willy Rizzo, Romeo Rega or Pierre Vandel, great names of Italian and French design of the seventies. The combination of smoked glass and gold or champagne metal was then one of the key visual codes of the time. A chic and timeless piece, perfect in a modernist living room or a refined contemporary interior. In beautiful vintage condition, glass in good condition.
