Quimper faience salad bowl signed P Fouillen. He returned to faience at the end of the 1930s, decorating some pieces at Henriot, before founding his own pottery after the Second World War. Free from any constraints, he gave free rein to his creative genius, influenced by Celtic themes, Cubism, and a dreamlike world that was unique to him. He trained his son Maurice in ceramic art before passing away in 1958.
