Pine Veneer Curved Wall Lamp By Hans-Agne Jakobsson For Ab Ellysett, Sweden, 1960S

A pinewood wall lamp by hans-agne jakobsson for elyssett in the swedish town of markaryd. Crafted from pine veneer with a wooden wall mount and a standard e27 lamp holder, this lamp casts a warm and cozy light due to the semi-translucent nature of the veneer. Jakobsson’s design explored the intricacies of pine veneer, particularly how it interacts with light, resulting in a beautifully warm glow. The lamp is constructed from a series of strips of pine veneer, formed into a ring shape on a wooden frame, also made of pine. This design not only provides functional lighting but also adds an artistic element to any room. The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition. Though fragile due to the nature of the material, this lamp has withstood the test of time and remains in fantastic condition. Perfect for adding a warm, ambient light to your home, this piece combines both design and function, making it a great addition to any vintage collection.
