This is the "Tongue" chair by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Jacobsen designed a series of plywood chairs on a bench: Butterfly, Ant, Mosquito, and the Tongue. This chair was designed in 1955 at a Danish school called "Munkegard school" in Denmark. It was only produced for a short period, from 1980 to 1985. There are not many of these chairs produced by Fritz Hansen. The colour is a very beautiful dark blue. The legs are chrome-plated.
