Pair of small chests of drawers or bedside tables in Louis XV style, dating from the 1950s, with a curved body and three drawers per piece. The fronts, sides, and backs are entirely covered with marquetry in rosewood and light fruitwood, forming chevron and diamond patterns. The tops are made of Aleppo breccia marble in orange, beige, and pink tones, featuring a scalloped profile that follows the curved shape of the furniture. The bronze ornaments include sculpted female heads at the upper corners, leafy falls, rocaille handles, and claw feet on slender cabriole legs. Workshop report: some missing veneer noted on the drawers, requiring partial restoration. Any intervention is feasible in the workshop. Weight: 40 kg for the pair. Dimensions per piece: H. 70 cm – W. 33 cm. We offer a selection of our items, most in perfect original condition or restored by our artisan cabinetmakers, upholsterers, and gilders.
