Mid-century Coat Racks by Drevokov, Czechoslovakia, 1960´s, set of 2

These identical hall coat racks were made in the former czechoslovakia in the 1960s and produced by drevotvar. Material: plywood, wood, leatherette, metal. It can be mounted on the wall or laid freely on the floor. It is a characteristic example of czechoslovak furniture design in connection with the so-called brussels period. This period began with the huge success of the czechoslovak pavilion at the world-famous expo in brussels in 1958. The coat rack is in very good original condition, showing signs of age and using.
