Golden trumeau mirror for fireplace, late 19th century, with sculpted pediment.

Late 19th century. French work. Mercury mirror (some small stains attest to this) Magnificent pediment crowned with flowers and ribbon in relief, typical of the period. Two small holes indicate that it is part of a set (furniture, etc.) Very beautiful patina. Some losses and defects (pediment frame) that do not detract from its splendour. Very heavy.
