Some lamps transcend their time. This Hala desk lamp model 144, designed by H.Th.A. Busquet, is a beautiful example of that. The design originated in the 1930s and was produced in the 1950s. The shapes are clear and functional, with distinct Bauhaus influences that effortlessly combine with a modern, minimalist or even space age interior. The lamp is made of silver grey metal combined with brushed chrome. From the round base, a chrome-plated stand rises that can be adjusted at two hinge points. The rod can be moved forward and backward continuously, allowing you to direct the light exactly where you need it. The mushroom-shaped shade is attached with a hinged coupling and is also adjustable separately. This allows you to easily create direct working light or a softer, indirect light. The original switch is integrated into the cord. In our workshop, we have carefully cleaned the lamp and treated it with metal wax. The technique has been checked, and the lamp is ready for use immediately.
